Lily (and Lanie) got a rough start on the morning; this mess, which continued down her pant leg, is from two spit-ups in a row:



Anyway, that's why she didn't post today.

Addendum: Lanie says that it was "puke, not spit-up" and when asked for clarification on the difference explained that it had to do with the force and volume. (Clearly, this episode was both forceful and voluminous.)

    Definitely the puke is worst -- I've been projectile vomited upon by a loved one before, so I can attest to the horror firsthand. But what is that spatula doing on the bed? You're going to start giving people crazy impressions. :-)

    Then we ate burnt pancakes.

    Thanks for clarifying the use of the spatula. I thought maybe you were scrapping puke off with it!! :)

    Were you able to take a shower after this??

    I believe House of Kee has a blog on kids and vomit as well.
