Mommy, don't go!

When I got home tonight, Lanie made dinner and Lily chewed on my knuckles with joyful enthusiasm, but then freaked out for half an hour while I tried to feed and soothe her. Our plan was for Lanie to start taking classes again (starting Wednesday) but after tonight it seems better to wait.

    are you going to try again?? Like give it the ole college try when mom goes to college?? I remember driving Benjamin around in the car when he would get cranky!! Gogo

    We're planning for Lanie to go back to school next semester, the theory being that an older Lily will be eating solid foods and be more tolerant of mommy-absence.

    Lily only likes driving around when she started off the drive in a good mood and/or sleeping. Otherwise she just gets more and more wound up as the drive continues.
