I'm taking Lily for her two-month appointment (finally) this afternoon. She's going to be getting three shots. I know I'll get over it and everything will be fine, but I am really dreading it right now.
Her daddy use to be the only white bottom at the WHO (World Health Organization) clinic when getting injections in Swaziland. He was quite a novelty. I don't remember him crying ... I think he just toughed it out. Later in life, when he would see a needle, he tended to want to pass out ... that is a story for another time. God is with you today! Gogo.
I'll be praying that both Mommy and Baby survive the experience! :-)
